Flexible Lamination
The Comexi Nexus range of products has expanded with the addition of updated NEXUS OPTIMA features designed to provide cutting-edge solutions for lamination. NEXUS OPTIMA can produce duplex, triplex, and multi-layer structures of high added value up to 1,970 fpm. The modular design allows it to provide a wide range of adapted solutions for customers' products, making this line suitable for food packaging, medical packaging, paper, labeling, and more. The coating unit is designed for maximum flexibility by means of an interchangeable trolley system. NEXUS Comexi can provide trolleys for gravure, flexo, semi-flexo, PVdC applications, and solventless, as well as coating/printing applications such as cold-seal and one-color printing. High-Speed Laminating
SL 1000 identifies a platform of duplex laminators dedicated to solventless applications. Its highly sensitive web tension control system can be maintained at extremely low tolerances for a wide spectrum of flexible substrates with different physical properties and varying thicknesses. These can include different material combinations from thin aluminum foil to plastic films and paper. Available in two different layouts, the SL 1000 also provides the possibility of further customization in terms of web width, shafted or shaftless winders, and reel diameter. Laminating System
The VARICOATER LF is a high-performance laminating system for the production of demanding laminates consisting of plastic films, paper, aluminium foil, and similar materials. The machine was specifically designed for lamination with 100 percent solids solvent-free adhesives. The adhesive coating system is laid out as a 4-roller unit. Unwind and rewind units can be supplied as single roll systems or as shaftless flying splice winders. Precise web tension control on the draws and winders allows for the production of almost all flexible material laminates.
