Narrow Web Vacuum Rolls
Webex offers a narrow-web vacuum roll custom-engineered to provide precise control over super-sensitive optical films. The 6˝ diameter roll body features a highly polished stainless steel finish with a series of micro grooves and port holes that produce an ultra-gentle web gripping force. Custom vacuum rolls can have adjustable active zone widths from within a few inches to nearly the entire face length of the roll. Active wraps zone are typically not adjustable and set according to the customer's web-wrap specifications. Differential Shafts
The Series 1250-DFX differential shafts are designed to maintain precise web tensions. The shafts can wind multiple cores and/or different width cores at very low web tensions. Each core can slip at a controlled speed when proper air pressure is maintained. The temperature resistant segments on the tension ledge expand outward when inflated, generating resistance against the inside diameter of the core.
