Thanks to positive development in all business areas, EyeC is headed for a successful conclusion to the 2022 financial year. The global expert for print image inspection generated a turnover volume of 10 million euros ($10.6M USD), an increase of approximately 20% compared to the same period of the previous year. The inspection systems provider is also continuing its international growth course unabated: The Hamburg-based company has expanded its presence in over 135 countries through 24 sales partners.
EyeC can report a positive result for the 2022 financial year: Despite the pandemic, inflation, as well as persistent supply bottlenecks, and material shortages, the Hamburg-based company has significantly expanded its market share in the current financial year. The American partner EyeC America contributed to this with an order intake above the $2 million mark. In addition, all five product families - ProofText, Proofiler, ProofRunner Web, ProofRunner Carton, and ProofRunner Sheetfed - recorded growth, which amounted to 30% in the print segment alone.
A key reason for the positive result and development is the continuous optimization and expansion of the innovative inspection systems, including the introduction of the EyeC ProofRunner Highlight series, a premium-market scanner developed exclusively for EyeC, as well as numerous improvements to EyeC ProofText, the cloud-based artwork proofreading system. Lively investment activity from existing and new customers, as well as strategy-, process- and structure-optimizing activities, contributed to this positive result despite the difficult times.
"We have achieved great success despite great challenges. We operate with solidity and foresight, and we have once again exceeded our targets," emphasizes Dr. Ansgar Kaupp, founder and managing director of EyeC GmbH. “We are pleased about the unbroken trust of our customers and partners in us, our systems, and our services - even or especially in these uncertain times. Full of confidence, we would like to continue this successful work in the coming year, reliably support our customers, and further establish the appeal of the EyeC brand."
