Executives and Exhibitors Looking Toward CPP Expo
LAS VEGAS, Nev.— New products, new ideas, new business in converting technology will be showcased at the new Converting and Package Printing (CPP) EXPO which will debut in Las Vegas, September 26-28, 2005, at the Sands Expo and Convention Center. H.A. Bruno LLC, the organizers, estimate there will be close to 250 exhibitors at the show; the event includes a comprehensive conference program.
Many exhibitors are showcasing solutions and new technologies for the first time while others introduce new product lines to the U.S. marketplace. These include:
• Fife debuts the New D-MAX Series Web Guiding Systems; these are pre-engineered, pre configured guiding systems that simplify installation.
• PlastiSoft Corporation, a provider of enterprise solutions tailored for flexible packaging, will display its release of the innovative all-in-one Shop Floor Data Collection Workstation for harsh conditions on manufacturing plants.
• Star-Slit line of duplex slitter/rewinders will be introduced to the West Coast market and will be the highlight of the Kampf USA exhibit.

According to Jane McDermott, vice president and show director of CPP EXPO, the show will deliver core benefits to attendees. The attendees of the industry will include buyers interested in: flexible packaging, unprinted rolls and sheets, tapes/labels/tags, paperboard packaging (including corrugated containers); office products; and magnetic video and electronic products. The roster of exhibitors is a roll call of the leaders setting the agenda for the converting and packaging industry.
"The best industry events deliver the most value to exhibitors, to the level of industry knowledge, and to attendees on equal levels," said Leo Nadolske, president of CPP EXPO. "We understand that our exhibitors and supporters have options in the industry events and conferences they select to showcase their product lines, to offer significant value and the ability to view the entire supply chain. These factors have literally put this inaugural event on the map in the industry."
CPP EXPO and PACK EXPO Las Vegas have announced a reciprocal registration system. The goal of the cooperative effort is to honor the respective badges of the attendees from the other event. Additional supporting associations include: AIMCAL (Association of Industrial Metallizers, Coaters and Laminators); CEMA (Converting Equipment Manufacturers Association); ASC (The Adhesive and Sealants Council); RADTECH, for the UV and EB Curing Technology Industry; TAPPI, the leading association for the worldwide paper, pulp and converting industry, CCTI; and the Film and Bag Federation.
