AICC, The Independent Packaging Association, offers leadership development and networking opportunities to members through the AICC Emerging Leader Program. Emerging Leader (EL) activities and events are led by their Delegates. Each year a new delegate is elected by their peers in the Program.
This year the AICC Emerging Leaders have selected Evan Clary, North American Sales Manager for National Corrugated Machinery, to join Senior Delegate John McQueary, CST Systems, and Junior Delegate Jordan Dawson, Harris Packaging, on the EL leadership team.
"Evan has been an active and valued participant in a broad range of AICC programming. I am pleased that he is sharing his talent, passion, and leadership with the Emerging Leaders. He will have an impact," said AICC President Mike D'Angelo.
Evan comes from a family-run business established in 1983, specializing in machinery solutions for the corrugated industry. Currently serving as the North American Sales Manager for National Corrugated Machinery, Clary represents the JS Corrugating Machinery Co.
Before joining National Corrugated Machinery and representing JS Corrugating Machinery, Co., Evan studied Business Administration as well as Global Logistics and Transportation at the College of Charleston. While attending the College of Charleston, he was President of the Student Port Club. He also held a position on the Board of Governors of the Propeller Club of Charleston.
Clary has been an active member of the ELs for years and served as the Marketing Team leader on the Emerging Leaders Committee for the past year.
"The Emerging Leaders group has been invaluable to me over the past six years. It is my hope that I can assist an already amazing group of people to continue delivering the same value for newcomers to the industry that I have been lucky enough to experience," said Clary.
As an AICC Emerging Leader Delegate, Clary will continue contributing his insights and expertise to benefit the EL Program and the industry.
