Esko, the global developer of integrated software and hardware solutions for label professionals, will use this year’s return of Labelexpo Americas to showcase how its latest innovations empower label businesses to improve ways of working, eradicate waste and optimize operational processes.
From 13 to 15 September, Esko will demonstrate to visitors at Chicago’s Donald E. Stephens Convention Center how its software and hardware solutions combine to deliver the most effective, state-of-the-art workflow automation and prepress technology for label converters.
The Esko exhibition space will feature a range of cutting-edge integrated technologies, including the latest version of market-leading Esko Automation Engine, now available to users either on-premise or as a SaaS solution. The team will also demonstrate the benefits of an automated prepress workflow, demonstrating the new Flexo Engine module - which merges functionality, automation and a host of features developed to increase prepress productivity. The latest in print inspection will also be in the spotlight, with demonstrations underlining the efficiency gains delivered by the technology.
“We are looking forward to meeting our partners, customers, friends and colleagues in person again at this year’s Labelexpo,” said Melissa Plemen, Esko Sr. Director of Inside Sales and Marketing. “With the latest developments to our web-based collaboration and automation software and our plate making and print inspection hardware, Labelexpo provides us with the perfect opportunity to demonstrate how digitizing, automating and connecting processes delivers significant efficiencies to businesses.
“We know that label converters face tremendous pressure in today’s turbulent and volatile market dynamics, with an ever-growing need for accuracy, consistency and efficiency,” she said. “We’re looking forward to discussing in person how the adoption of integrated hardware and software to automate and connect workflows, systems and processes in label businesses delivers the clearest tangible benefit in meeting this challenge.”
From the company’s booth #5203 the Esko team will be showcasing its latest innovations, including a new complete print inspection solution for digitally printed labels. VDP enhancements in Automation Engine, that makes the integration of Variable Data Printing requirements as easy as a few mouse clicks, will also be showcased, together with the newest developments in on-press color and quality management with its AVT print inspection system.
“Excellence in business performance – the value promise of digital transformation – leads to success by improving operational processes, lowering costs and delivering client loyalty,” said Melissa. “By developing technologies that seek to speed up and connect processes and devices efficiently, while eliminating errors and waste, Esko enables label converters to meet the challenges of both today and tomorrow, while also reducing waste and cost as much as possible throughout the entire ideation-to-shelf workflow.
