Matik, Inc., the North American distributor for SEI Laser equipment, is pleased to announce Enterprise Print Group of Knoxville, Tenn., has purchased a Labelmaster manufactured by SEI Laser. The advanced Labelmaster provides true digital finishing on demand and will expand Enterprise Print Group’s capabilities, efficiency and profit potential.
“Many of our customers use fairly low volumes of very high-value materials; so, reducing waste and scrap becomes part of the formula for their success. This equipment allows us to minimize waste and the time frame to go from a raw roll of material to a happy customer,” says Kirk Icuss, president of Enterprise Print Group. “The Labelmaster provides laser and digital advantages, and a reduction in setup waste of 70 to 75 percent versus conventional finishing, and at least that much in time savings.”
Purchasing SEI Laser’s Labelmaster advances the mission of Enterprise Print Group by delivering true digital finishing, including rapid setup and on-the-fly cutting without the need for tooling and die inventory. In addition, because there are no dies, Labelmaster greatly reduces finishing make-ready time. Other advantages of the Labelmaster include quick delivery of short- to large-run orders; providing maximum design flexibility; increasing accuracy; and expanding materials processing capabilities, such as PET, PP/BOPP and paper. A roll-to-roll and roll-to-sheet laser system, it offers maximum web speed of 330 feet per minute (100 meters per minute), web widths up to 14 inches (360 mm) and roll diameters up to 24 inches (610 mm).
Originally founded as Consolidated Products, Inc. over 30 years ago, Enterprise Print Group delivers value-added printing solutions, including UL certified constructions, compliance labeling, serialization, kitting, on-demand printing and more.
