EIZO Appoints Chromaticity as a Master Distributor for North America
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., and CYPRESS, Calif.—Chromaticity, Inc., a leader in distribution and deployment of color management and digital imaging technologies, and Eizo Nanao Technologies Inc., have signed an agreement naming Chromaticity an EIZO master distributor in North America and making the full line of EIZO monitors available to Chromaticity’s growing network of graphic arts and systems integration resellers.
The addition of the graphic arts industry’s leading line of LCD displays to an already strong Chromaticity product offering should further accelerate Chromaticity’s recent growth for what promises to be a strong 2008. “EIZO has the highest quality monitors in the world and they are a natural compliment to Chromaticity’s existing products from Integrated Color Solutions and EFI,” says Ian Mackenzie, vice president of marketing at Chromaticity. “When our partners sell EFI Rips and ICS’ Remote Director (for both hard and soft proofing)—together with Chromaticity’s new rackmount server appliances—they can offer true value and an integrated, total solution to their customers. We look forward to a successful partnership with EIZO.”
Dave Waletzki, vice president of sales for Eizo Nanao Technologies Inc., said, “We expect great things from Chromaticty. EIZO knows they will help increase awareness of our products and build new strong relationships in the market.”
As Chromaticity is the exclusive distributor for ICS’ Remote Director in North America, the company will leverage the natural synergy between EIZO ColorEdge displays and ICS’ award-winning Remote Director software to provide accurate and predictable soft and remote proofing. From press-side to desktop viewing, EIZO and ICS make a formidable combination.
This strategic relationship coincides with the grand opening of Chromaticity’s new 10,000-sq.-ft. facility in Grand Rapids, Mich. In addition to a large warehouse for EIZO displays and Chromaticity’s EFI-branded Validation ink jet media, there will also be a state-of-the-art lab and training facility that will have the latest printers from Epson, Canon, HP, Mimaki, and Mutoh.
