DuPont's Latest in Flexo Printing Plates Will be on Display at drupa
DuPont Advanced Printing (DuPont) is highlighting DuPont Cyrel EASY flexographic printing plate technology and its newest equipment offering at the DuPont booth (hall 8B/C21) during drupa 2016.
Cyrel EASY simplifies the prepress process by building the flat top digital dot directly into the plate, resulting in increased productivity and consistency. Visitors to the show will be able to view the complete Cyrel EASY plate portfolio, which is available for thermal and solvent-free processes with engineered surface or smooth surface.
"With Cyrel EASY flexographic printing plates, customers no longer need to trade productivity for quality," said Andy Kannurpatti, global marketing manager, flexography. Introduced in 2015, the latest addition to the leading DuPont Cyrel brand flexographic systems portfolio is advancing flexography by delivering color complexity and workflow simplicity. The plates perform exceedingly well on press, delivering high solid ink density and excellent fade-to-zero highlights. Press operations also benefit because these plates come up to color very quickly and minimize start-up waste. This is part of an ongoing effort by DuPont to drive progress in the flexographic printing industry by improving quality, sustainability and productivity.
During drupa, print samples, demonstrations, tours and featured speakers will reveal how DuPont works across the package printing industry value chain to address technology needs and help customers achieve desired results consistent with their brand-building initiatives.
