DuPont Artistri Digital Inks is excited to announce its participation at the 2022 Printing United Expo in Las Vegas (NV).
DuPont has been an innovator in inkjet pigment inks for over 30 years, from home & office to digital textile and commercial printing inks and now developing digital inkjet inks for packaging applications.
At the show, the company will exhibit a full portfolio of digital printing solutions. For textile printing, DuPont will highlight Artistri Brite P5500, the newest addition to its pigment inks for DTG (direct to garment) and DTF (direct to film) applications. The booth will also feature an extensive RTR (roll to roll) range including Artistri Xite P2700 and P3600 pigment inks.
The new Artistri P5500 ink set delivers improved wash fastness with both press or oven curing and with faster curing times. Artistri P5590 white ink offers the opacity and stretch that customers value along with longer shelf life. This high gamut volume aqueous-based inks package is designed to work in printers with low-viscosity piezo-electric printheads and is suitable for all DTG applications, including DTF printing. With the Artistri P5500, printers will be able to tailor their ink usage to the application without compromising on color, fastness and repeatability.
For RTR printers, Artistri Xite P2700 pigment inks offer best-in-class color gamut with deep, rich blacks, outstanding color saturation and superior durability, meeting the needs of quality conscious textile printers in apparel and home furnishings. “We are delighted to deliver a full solution that enables leading printing performance in all the areas that contribute to our textilecustomers’ success: brilliant and durable colors with less ink usage with reduced curing times while still delivering printing consistency and dependability to help lower operations and maintenance costs,” says Robert Simpson, Americas Business Director, DuPont Artistri Digital Inks.
For commercial and packaging printing applications, visitors will be able to learn more about the Artistri inks portfolio designed and customized to meet the specific printhead, printer, and application requirements including food compliance, print quality, durability and print reliability. To support sustainable growth of packaging, DuPont is exhibiting high performance water-based inkjet inks for commercial and packaging applications, including printing on coated or uncoated paper, corrugated and folding carton, and a full range of food compliant ink products. Robert adds, “We are leveraging global customer partnerships to develop ink solutions for label and flexible packaging printing as well.”
Across industries, brand owners and printers/converters are focused on improving sustainability of their printing solutions while maintaining high level of quality and productivity. “Artistri aqueous pigment inks are a key asset for digital printing customers looking for short runs, customization and a shortened supply chain, while addressing the demand for sustainability,” Robert concludes.
