Domino’s i-Tech range of continuous inkjet (CIJ) systems set new standards in practicality, performance and flexibility for coding and marking. The recently completed range of A320i, A420i and A520i printers employ Domino's unique intelligent technology system and QuickStep user interface.
Over the past few years, the i-Tech range has helped meet the production line requirements of numerous businesses around the world. For example, Belgian soft drinks producer EVIDEL integrated the A320i into its glass bottling line for coding onto the caps of liter and 20cl bottles. According to Niko Claeys, assistant managing director at EVIDEL, the company has achieved a 5 percent increase in efficiency on its bottling line resulting in a much higher production of bottles per hour.
Express Packaging, a U.S. contract packaging service provider, was the first company to install an A520i with IP66 sealed electronics enclosure, for its challenging production environment, in which numerous foods and snacks are handled on a daily basis. Other customers in Spain, France and Portugal have also taken advantage of the printer’s reliability and its capacity reduce errors in meat products, wines and glass bottles, respectively.
