DiMS! at IPEX 2010
LICHTENVOORDE, The Netherlands—DiMS! organizing print, a provider of MIS/ERP systems for the printing and packaging industries, will present four new product suites at IPEX 2010. DiMS! now provides four different, business-specific product suites.
All the new product suites contain DiMS!’s seamless, end-to-end, web-enabled workflow with in-depth functionality and automation wizards, developed for every printing or packaging branch. The number of licenses and level of features are adapted to each size and type of printing company, tweaked to its typical needs.
Built on DiMS.NET!’s technology, each product suite operates for a specific market segment and is complemented with the appropriate level of set-up and support services. There are four different entry levels:
• DiMS.NET! – Plug and play version of the DiMS! ERP/MIS solution. The user interface, supported by the e-learning capabilities, enables short training times and ease of use.
• DiMS.NET! Comfort Suite – Comfortable version of the DiMS! ERP/MIS solution that offers company-specific machine set-up adjustments and standard training programs (including e-learning) through the assistance of specialized DiMS! consultants.
• DiMS.NET! Executive Suite – High-end version of the DiMS! ERP/MIS solution that is completely pre-set-up in accordance with the company’s characteristics and needs. In-depth consultancy guidance, supplemented with tailored training (including e-learning), ensures a smooth implementation process.
• DiMS.NET! Enterprise Suite – Turn-key version of the multi-plant DiMS! ERP/MIS solution through a comprehensive business process redesign project, tailored for the specific company in mind. Based on DiMS!’ proven project metrics, experienced DiMS! consultants guide the users through every step of the process.
“We see an increasing demand for ‘out of the box’ solutions, especially in today’s challenging market place. This demand applies not only for software and functionality, but in a market with overcapacity and price pressure, the implementation of best business practices became inevitable for survival,” says Gerard Marneth, CEO of DiMS! organizing print. “It has always been our strategy to incorporate best business practices—amassed from many years of industry experience—into the DiMS! software. With the new product suites, we are more than ready to employ that expertise in printing and packaging companies—regardless of their type or size.”
