As digital printing continues to be the hottest technology in the packaging industry, the Digital Packaging Summit is expanding its scope to include the latest packaging applications and market segments impacted by digital printing, including expansion into the flexible packaging and direct to shape/object segments in 2019.
The Digital Packaging Summit is an invitation-only, hosted summit designed for senior managers and business executives who want to understand how current and future digital production printing technology, software and solutions will impact their business strategy and investment decisions. The summit is free for qualified attendees.
Now in its fourth year, the Digital Packaging Summit has served as an invaluable resource for converters and suppliers to learn about the latest developments in this disruptive technology. As digital printing has become an important tool for numerous label and package printers, the Summit has served as an important event to better understand how the variation, regionalization, and brand extension opportunities digital provides helps their brand owner customers better serve consumers. And with opportunities emerging in every market segment, package printers serving the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, health and beauty and industrial industries have discovered ways digital printing can benefit their businesses.
In order to be a platform for all package printers serious about implementing digital printing as part of their growth strategy, the Digital Packaging Summit is expanding its content to additional packaging segments. In addition to labels, folding cartons and corrugated packaging, the 2018 event will include conversations about the digital opportunities in flexible packaging, as multiple suppliers have announced their intentions to launch digital presses capable of producing flexible packaging applications. The 2019 event will formally introduce flexible packaging as a content track at the Summit.
Additionally, the 2019 Digital Packaging Summit will introduce opportunities in direct to shape/object digital printing, a technology that has already demonstrated its viability in the packaging market and is poised for significant growth.
The Digital Packaging Summit will be held from Nov. 5-7 at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. Those interested in being a hosted attendee at the event should contact Brian Ludwick at bludwick@napco.com or David Pesko at dpesko@ngagevents.com.
