The Digital Packaging Summit 2015 will take place from November 9-11 at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. The Summit is a hosted, invitation-only conference designed for senior managers and executives in label and package printing and converting who want to understand how current and future digital printing technology and software will impact their business and investment decisions. This summit offers strategic insights into what printing industry leaders must do to grow, improve, and optimize their businesses.
The Digital Packaging Summit focuses on how widespread changes taking place today are redefining the future of label and package printing. Attendees will meet and learn from leading labels and packaging experts through a conference program led by Kevin Karstedt, CEO, Karstedt Partners, LLC, and a team of key advisory board members and speakers. Advisory Board members include:
- Kevin Karstedt, CEO, Karstedt Partners, LLC (Conference Chair)
- Marco Boer, Vice President, IT Strategies
- Ron Gilboa, Director, InfoTrends
- Paul V. Reilly, Partner, New Direction Partners
- Jeff Wettersten, President, Karstedt Partners, LLC
- Noel Ward, Editor, packagePRINTING
“The Digital Packaging Summit will set the standard for high-level information exchange in the packaging supply chain and be the ‘go to’ event for understanding where and how digital printing technologies will impact package printing for the next decade,” said Karstedt. “Having been involved with digital printing for packaging for more than two decades, I am seeing clear momentum building in all areas of packaging in regards to digital technologies. The summit is perfectly timed as needs and technologies converge.”
The invitation-only hosted format provides a unique and valuable experience for attendees to acquire knowledge from the "who's who" in the label and package space through keynote sessions, end-user panels, case studies, segment-focused breakout sessions, and numerous networking activities and receptions.
While printers and converters are seeking information and guidance, suppliers are looking for ways to identify and develop relationships with decision makers. The summit provides sponsors with private case study presentations and pre-scheduled 1:1 meetings with packaging executives who are intimately involved with strategy and purchasing across the label and folding carton segments. Sponsors include: FUJIFILM, Heidelberg, Kodak, Mark Andy, Screen USA, Xeikon, and more.
“Our goal is to bring together leading suppliers and attendees in an intimate learning and educational environment facilitated by experts. Attendees will learn from experts, leading suppliers and, most importantly, their peers, about how to adopt new solutions and be successful,” said Noel Ward, editor-in-chief, packagePRINTING magazine. “The Inkjet Summit accomplished this for commercial printers and the Digital Packaging Summit will be a win-win for both sponsors and attendees in the packaging market.”
