BOGALUSA, La.—Delta Printing Company, Inc. recently added platen diecutting to the list of services it provides its customers in eastern Louisiana, Mississippi, and the surrounding region. “We were looking at ways to grow our business and better serve our customers,” says Hap Hayden, Delta Printing president. “With digital printing changing the way the printing industry works, we’re always looking to add new capabilities to our operation. New services allow us to provide additional benefits to our customers and help us evolve in this changing market.”
Delta’s new Bobst COMMERCIAL 106 Autoplaten® diecutter went into operation in January of this year. At the same time, Delta also installed a new Bobst VISIONFOLD 110 folder-gluer, allowing the company to provide full packaging/carton capabilities. The Commercial 106 allows Delta to offer embossing and diecutting.
Delta Printing provides commercial and label printing services to markets including food, beverage, auto parts and many others. The addition of diecutting and folding and gluing gives its customers a single location and point of contact for all printing, finishing, and packaging requirements.
The Bobst COMMERCIAL 106 is specifically designed for diecutting light weight papers and has the capability to run materials from .004" to .160" thickness. This includes a wide range of paper, solid board, and micro-flute corrugated paperboard. The diecutter also has the capability to register sheets from both sides and is configured with the Bobst C.U.B.E. control for faster changerovers and precision adjustment.
