Pioneers of both digital and flexographic technology to label food containers, beverages, health and beauty products, and more, Cris Ray Printing has opted for the Prati Saturn TE370 slitter/rewinder to enhance their production efficiency and exploit the versatility the equipment is sure to offer.
Totally flexible and based on the recently developed open-platform technology called Futura, the Saturn range of slitter/rewinders run at high speeds and offer maximum adaptability to future needs, avoiding downtime for retrofits and consequent loss in terms of production. Thanks to the Futura technology, the Saturn TE370 is also equipped to comply with Industry 4.0 standards and can be connected to customer’s MIS systems to exploit data and improve production efficiency.
With its new generation motion technology and a unique self-sharpening slitting knife system, the Saturn handles a wide range of PS label materials on paper and film liners including the UPM PP30 and AD PET 23µm liners, booklet, tube laminate, aluminum foil, Tyvek, cardboard, multi laminate. Quick set-up routines ensure all systems are ready to run simultaneously, making it safer and faster to start producing.
