Contiweb to Illustrate Digital Inkjet Solutions for North America at Inkjet Summit 2022
Contiweb, a specialist manufacturer of drying and web-handling equipment and provider of integrated technical solutions for web offset printing, packaging and digital printing announced that it will use this year’s Inkjet Summit (Austin, Texas – April 11-13) to explain its range of digital inkjet solutions. Most notably, Contiweb North America Sales Manager, Gene French, will present a talk on the benefits of the Contiweb Variable Coater.
The case study presentation will feature information on a leading printing company in the United States, which recently put two Variable Coaters into operation. The audience will receive insightful information from the printer about their experiences with the machines and with Contiweb. Unlike conventional coaters, the Contiweb Variable Coater does not use anilox rollers but a patented metering system. This allows for a variable and very precise application of the coating, leading to huge savings. Also, the web width of the VC can be changed with just a quick production stop and without any requirement to exchange parts. During the case study presentation, the business case of the printing company will be discussed, on the basis of which the purchase was made.
Contiweb’s install base across North America now numbers at 750 machines, a proud landmark for the company according to Rob Bosman, Contiweb Sales Director, who will also be in attendance during the summit. He says, “We view this summit as an exciting opportunity to get back to attending and showcasing our digital inkjet offering at physical events. Our sales numbers in the US over the last few years are emblematic of the way in which we have built up strong relationships and this event is a great chance to solidify those relationships.”
In conjunction with the VC, attendees can also find out more about Contiweb’s non-stop winding solutions as well as the Digital Fluid Applicator (DFA). These products form Contiweb’s digital inkjet offering, a real focus for the company moving forward.
Bosman continues, “Contiweb is meeting the demand for easy customisation and short-run printing with our digital offering. Both Gene and I look forward to hearing how we can positively impact businesses in North America and perhaps solve any issues that they have.”
