Comexi Celebrates 70th Anniversary, Unveils Comexi D4
Reporting its stand was one of the busiest at this year’s Drupa, Comexi showcased a range of printing solutions for the flexible packaging market and celebrated its 70th anniversary with a festive celebration at its stand.
During the Drupa trade fair, Comexi introduced the new Comexi D4 digital press. The press is designed specifically for personalized flexible packaging jobs and short production runs, which the company says allows more productive presses to focus on larger jobs. The Comexi D4 also enables packaging converters to sell more services to brand owners because the digital press can easily print variable codes, personalized messages, limited-edition promotions, and more into their printed packaging.
The new Comexi F1 Evolution flexographic press was unveiled to the public at the show. The highly automated press is equipped with the latest advances in job setup and reaches a production speed of 600 m/min, which the company reports made the F1 Evolution the most advanced and automated high-print quality press presented at Drupa.
In parallel with its presence at Drupa, Comexi presented the Sustainable Packaging Showroom. The event, held on the Drupa premises, brought together experts and professionals to discuss and share knowledge on how the industry can move toward more sustainable practices.
The company’s 70th Anniversary celebrations included speeches from Comexi's President Manel Xifra and CEO Pau Xifra that described the company’s ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence and how that commitment impacts the company’s trajectory.
