Color-Logic announced the certification of Ecofoil Digital Label Stock for cut-sheet printers, a fully recyclable and FSC-certified label stock optimized for HP Indigo, Ricoh, and Xerox digital presses.
Discussing the certification, Mark Geeves, director of Color-Logic sales and marketing, said: "Ecofoil Digital Label Stock opens up new markets for cut sheet printers, including labels for craft breweries, cannabis distributors, wineries, and other short run and variable data markets. Labels produced with personalized metallic special effects by Color-Logic on Ecofoil Digital cut sheets are particularly attractive to printers serving charity, wedding, anniversary, and celebration customers."
Geeves continued: "Certification tests performed in the Color-Logic laboratories indicate that Color-Logic licensed printers can confidently offer Ecofoil Digital Label Stock to customers. In the United States, Ecofoil Digital substrates are distributed exclusively by Kelly Spicer. Outside the US, Ecofoil Digital substrates are available from local distributors."
Mark Kempster, Ecofoil Digital managing director, also commented: We are very excited about our new Ecofoil Digital label stock hitting markets around the world. With conventional methods of foil embellishment proving either difficult to produce and/or requiring a pre-PET lamination, Ecofoil Digital is truly the only sustainable and commercially viable method to produce foil embellishment labels with both the dry toner and HP Indigo digital print markets."
