Branding and Packaging Industry Veteran Linda Casey Joins PRINTING United Alliance as Part of NAPCO Media’s Editorial Team
PRINTING United Alliance, the most comprehensive member-based printing and graphic arts association in the U.S., announces the addition of Linda Casey to its industry-leading editorial team at NAPCO Media. Casey brings nearly three decades of media experience to her dual roles as editor-in-chief of Packaging Impressions and senior content editor at BRAND United, where she will serve the branding and package printing audiences with comprehensive and innovative multimedia editorial that helps readers realize real business results.
“We are excited to have Linda join our editorial team — especially now as we gear up for the PRINTING United Expo in Orlando and the Digital Packaging Summit in November,” says Denise M. Gustavson, editorial director, Printing and Packaging, NAPCO Media. “Her depth of experience will be critical to the growth of the packaging and brand segments at NAPCO Media.”
Casey was previously editor-in-chief of BXP: Brand Experience Magazine. Her scope of work includes a range of branding, marketing, business, and printing and converting topics, including package design, commercial printing, converting, package printing, and strategic omnichannel marketing. Casey’s other passion — communications — also encompassed relative roles at a multitude of print publications, including Package Design, Converting, Instant & Small Commercial Printer, High Volume Printing, and Packaging Digest.
“I’m overjoyed to be joining the leading media company in the printing and graphic arts industry,” says Casey. “NAPCO’s and PRINTING United Alliance’s commitment to the package printers and consumer-facing brands has enabled Packaging Impressions and BRAND United to be powerfully transformative forces for their audiences, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue the publications’ traditions of service to these innovative and creative professionals.”
“I’m thrilled to have Linda join the Packaging Impressions team,” says Chris Lyons, President/Publisher, Packaging Impressions. “Over the years, Linda’s excellence in covering the packaging market and passion for the market have made her the ideal candidate to lead the editorial efforts of Packaging Impressions. Linda will provide great insights and leadership as we look to grow and expand our coverage on the many dynamic changes happening in packaging.”
