ROSELAND, N.J.—Bobst Group North America has announced the installation of a COMMERCIAL106 E Autoplaten® diecutter and VISIONFOLD 110-A2 CS folder-gluer at its West-Coast Training and Demonstration Center. The Center, which opened in August 2005, was formed in partnership with Advanced Die Supplies and is located in Advanced Die’s Santa Fe Springs, California facility.
“The COMMERCIAL106 E and the VISIONFOLD 110 are the latest generation of Bobst technology,” stated Chris Raney, VP Folding Carton, Bobst Group North America. “Customers can observe and examine these machines operating first hand so they can feel more confident when making a purchase. Having them available in Santa Fe Springs gives West Coast customers a convenient and cost-effective alternative to traveling across the country for demonstrations or training.”
To further enhance support for Bobst customers in the West Coast region, Martial Duperrut will be responsible for managing the field service activities in the region. “This means Bobst customers will now have the convenience of having technicians scheduled locally,” says Raney. “Martial will be even more directly involved than before and will be working closely with Brian Small and the other field technicians to ensure customers throughout the West continue to receive outstanding customer service.”
The COMMERCIAL106 E is engineered to Bobst’s high standards for Autoplaten®diecutters and is specifically designed to run light weight papers. It has the capability to diecut materials from .004" to .160" thick, including a wide range of paper, solid board and corrugated paperboard. The COMMERCIAL installed in the demonstration center is configured with many standard and optional features including the Bobst C.U.B.E. computer numerical control for fast change-overs and precision adjustment.
The VISIONFOLD 110-A2 CS offers an expansive range of folding capabilities from straight-line through crash lock cartons. The Demonstration Center machine has computer set-up with manual and motorized versions also available.
