AVT Nominated for New Innovation Label Industry Award
HOD HASHARON, Israel—Advanced Vision Technology (AVT), a leader in automatic inspection solutions for printing applications, has been nominated for the 2007 Label Industry Award for New Innovation. The fourth Label Industry Global Awards ceremony and Gala Dinner will take place on September 26, 2007, on the first evening of Labelexpo Europe, in Brussels, Belgium.
This honorary prize, sponsored this year by Esko and HP, is awarded to an innovative and pioneering company that has been involved in the label industry for less than 10 years, and has been instrumental in successfully introducing key new science, products, or technology solutions. The selected company must also operate with business integrity, and be committed to the future development of the label industry.
“We are honored to be nominated once again for this prestigious award,” said Gal Shamri, AVT vice president of marketing. “AVT is committed to offering innovative and proven solutions to answer the label industry’s challenges. Through continuous dialog with printers and partners, we have developed a series of dedicated automatic inspection solutions that were quickly adopted by label printers around the world to assure quality and converting process excellence. In three years, we’ve sold more than 350 PrintVision/Helios automatic inspection solutions in the label industry, while enlarging our solution offering to support every step of the production process. This includes job verification through a link to the pre-press information, on-press and on-rewinder automatic inspection platforms, quality information management solutions, and press-to-rewinder workflow support to assure efficient removal of defective material. The nomination recognizes our contribution to the label market and is therefore extremely gratifying.”
