Eagle Systems, a developer and manufacturer of foil enhancement equipment, has announced that it sold one system right out of its booth during the recent GRAPH EXPO 15, but it took an order for another installation, scheduled to be installed in early 2016. The company also announced, based upon steady and continuous rising demand for both foil solutions and its inline systems, that it will exhibit at drupa in building 16A, stand 71.
Eagle President and CEO Mike King commented, “It’s extremely rewarding to see the fruits of your labor come to harvest. For more than 40 years I have been promoting and advocating the advancement of both hot stamping and cold foil technology. I’ve always said, ‘Everyone loves cold foil, and if you don’t, then you just don’t know enough about it yet.’ Graph Expo was a major coming out party and it spurred so many new brand managers and print owners to explore its commercial and promotional value.
“What really separates us from all the digital foil providers is our practical implementation and versatility in run-length. Our system literally sits on top of the company’s printing press, so there’s no added floor space required or new climate concerns. It’s an inline system that enables foil to easily be added to any job, regardless of run-length. And in many cases, despite our elevated revenue-generating capability, our pricing is usually also more in-line with the needs of budget-conscious owners.
"The good news is that foil is now being introduced and appreciated by a much wider audience. Over the last few years, with installations all over the world, we’re seeing a steady rise in new applications, such as annual reports, magazine and catalog covers, and wedding albums. And of course, due to the increasing user-friendliness and familiarity with foil, more and more of the typical packaging and promotional uses are driving new demand. With the holiday season soon upon us, the bling of cold foil will really come into view on a shelf near you.”
