All Printing Resources (APR) announced today that it has acquired JVI Solutions effective January 1, 2022. Headquartered in Marietta, Georgia, JVI Solutions has provided customer-focused integrated products, equipment and services, and workflow consulting to flexographic printers and packaging prepress providers throughout North America for the past 28 years.
JVI Solutions’ product portfolio includes flexographic plates, solvents and solvent management, anilox rolls and sleeves, mounting tapes, doctor blades and plate storage solutions.
According to Dave Nieman, President and CEO, APR, “We continue to hear from our customers that expanded technical support is more important than ever in today’s labor environment. Consequently, our acquisition of JVI Solutions will be a significant benefit to our customers and the industry. Both companies have extremely strong commitments to customer support, proven over many years. The addition of the JVI Solutions team to ours will expand our technical and field equipment service capabilities.”
The addition of SupplySentry RFID-managed inventory system and APR’s other product solutions will significantly expand the products and services that can be offered to current JVI customers allowing for both time and cost savings. Conversely, the addition of Vianord’s automated plate processing systems will allow APR to offer its current customers better integrated solutions.
According to Nieman, the existing JVI team will be joining APR. In addition, both companies currently support some of the same key strategic suppliers such as McDermid, Fuji, Esko, and Lohmann. This should ensure no interruptions to the service that JVI customers currently expect and receive.
Current JVI owner Jim Vertullo will be assuming the role of Executive Vice President at APR. Vertullo notes, “I couldn’t be prouder to put the future of our company, our employees and our customers in the skillful hands of the APR team. I have long admired APR and know that we will prosper within their customer-focused environment.”
