All Packaging Continues Growth With Highly Automated Seven-Color KBA Press
DALLAS—August 26, 2014—All Packaging, a folding carton manufacturer headquartered in Aurora, Colorado, is continuing its successful growth with the aid of its seven-color, 41" KBA Rapida 106 press.
“All Packaging Company has been fortunate enough to have doubled our sales in the last five years,” remarked Kenneth Pepper, president of All Packaging. “We are currently supplying packages to the medical device and pharmaceutical, health and beauty, food and beverage, technology and business, pet supplies, and entertainment and recreation markets and shipping to both eastern and western Canada, Mexico, and much of the U.S. By investing in the latest equipment technologies, such as the KBA Rapida 106 press, we still have the same number of employees as we had five years ago."
Since its launch, KBA’s high-tech Rapida 106 continues to be the world champion in makeready and the most productive press in its class. All Packaging's press includes the KBA QualiTronic color-control system, which measures densities in line on each sheet at maximum production speed; this system eliminates time-consuming manual comparisons and reduces start-up waste. QualiTronic is a camera-based inline sheet-inspection system that scans each sheet and compares it with a reference sheet.
"We go out of our way to understand our customers’ business challenges so that we can deliver the products and services that they need to succeed in their markets," continued Pepper. "Our customers' success is the reason we have grown and it is the benchmark by which we evaluate our employees and overall company performance."
For more than 70 years, All Packaging's mission has been to focus on quality manufacturing using innovative design and emerging technologies that provide cost effective products and services. The firm is committed to producing packaging that is appealing to the consumer and friendly to the environment. Unique to the firm is its vendor managed inventory system (VMI) that helps customers manage re-order timing, quantities, and finished goods inventory levels. This system utilizes customers’ forecast demand data and current inventory data to generate a plan for carton production.
