Alcan Tobacco Packaging Rolls Out PECAS Vision ERP/MIS as Global Standard

SHEFFIELD, England—Radius Solutions Ltd. has announced that Alcan Tobacco Packaging is implementing the PECAS Vision ERP system to manage its global operations.

Alcan Tobacco Packaging has been going through an IT harmonization and consolidation project with a goal to move from more than 20 different software systems to manage its business processes around the world, to a handful of systems. As part of the process, PECAS Vision was selected to manage the organization’s production operations worldwide. The solution has been rolled out in 10 of the 12 targeted facilities including sites in Europe, Asia, and North America. The company plans to have its remaining two facilities running PECAS Vision before the end of next year.
