Agfa Unveils Next-Gen Anapurna H3200 Wide-Format Hybrid Printer
Agfa says the newest version of its 3.2 m Anapurna H3200 represents a significant leap forward in speed and print quality. When compared to its predecessor, the 3.2 m Anapurna H3200 boasts an almost 70% increase in printing speed in production mode.
Like its predecessor, the Anapurna H3200 features a six-color plus white ink set and UV LED curing. However, both the print shuttle and print engine itself have been redesigned to achieve a significant productivity increase. The fast-firing print heads help ensure rapid throughput – up to 710 sq. ft./hr. in production mode – and high print quality on the types of flexible and rigid materials often used for point-of-purchase displays for consumer packaged goods. Additionally, the printer’s newly implemented continuous board feeding capacity enables efficient printing on rigid materials, with the capability to print up to four boards printed simultaneously.
The enhanced print shuttle also contributes to improved image quality, particularly noticeably in darker solid tones. Its GREENGUARD Gold-certified inks deliver high color vibrancy and a broad color gamut, while Agfa’s patented Thin Ink Layer technology ensures minimal ink consumption.
Furthermore, Agfa reports that the new press is redesigned with a protective close that not only gives the printer a sleek, modern look but also contributes to a safer working environment.
