Agfa Graphics and Pitman Team Up at Graph Expo
RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J.—Agfa Graphics and the Pitman Company have teamed up for GRAPH EXPO 2010—two booths (2611 and 844) with one goal: help customers grow sales!
Combined, Agfa and Pitman offer a comprehensive assortment of inkjet solutions. This includes entry-level systems all the way up to high-speed industrial inkjet, plus a wide variety of rigid and flexible media.
Booth #844 will be fully dedicated to profit-generating inkjet solutions, including Agfa's :Anapurna M 2050 UV-curable inkjet printer. The :Anapurna M 2050 is designed to give users a cost-effective solution for speed and 1440 dpi display printing. Moreover, Agfa’s :Jeti 1224 HDC FTR (flat-to-roll), a high-productivity UV inkjet printer featuring High Definition Color capabilities, will be running live during the show. This system offers one of the best true flatbeds combined with true roll-to-roll capability on the market. The 96˝-wide flatbed architecture of the :Jeti 1224 HDC allows for printing on virtually anything that is reasonably flat up to five cm thick. It is ideally suited for high-resolution trade show graphics, POS (Point-of-Sale) displays, real estate signs, backlit signs, lenticular displays, high-resolution banners, ceramic tiles, wood and many more flatbed applications.
GRAPH EXPO attendees can also learn about Agfa’s :M-Press TIGER, a high-speed UV flatbed inkjet press, the :Dotrix high-speed UV web inkjet printing press, Agfa-made inks, and more.
In booth #2611, a full assortment of prepress, press and packaging solutions will be displayed. GRAPH EXPO attendees can stop by for demos of :Apogee 7, the latest version of Agfa’s award-winning automated workflow which includes :Apogee Impose, an Agfa-developed imposition module that relies on live job information rather than templates to perform imposition. In addition, :Apogee 7 allows print buyers to go beyond the Web-to-print screen to create new jobs in the prepress stage with WebApproval.
Agfa will also demonstrate its complete plate portfolio which includes the chemistry-free thermal plate, :Azura TS, as well as the Intertech Technology award-winning :Energy Elite plate. Agfa’s :Amigo TS will make its North American debut at GRAPH EXPO. The new :Amigo TS runs up to 50 percent faster than the original. Agfa will also display :Arkitex 7, the automated workflow specifically suited to fit the evolving needs of newspapers.
Agfa and Pitman have also invited several vendor partners into both booths. The goal of this unconventional effort is to provide GRAPH EXPO 2010 attendees with a complete array of solutions to fit their total business needs.
