Action Plans for Success Headline 2008 PIA/GATF Presidents Conference
PITTSBURGH, Pa.—Steven S. Little, consultant and writer on the subject of business growth, and John Moore, marketing guru that helped Starbucks and Whole Foods create their brand, lead off the 2008 Presidents Conference, March 2–6, 2008 at the Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach Hotel in Cancun, Mexico. The three-and-a-half-day conference gathers industry notables, experts, practitioners, and profit leaders to share their Action Plans for Success, the theme of this year’s program.
Little will identify the macro-changes taking place in our world, while Moore highlights the need to capture business through exceptional brand marketing. Patrick Sweeney, executive vice president of Caliper Corporation in New Jersey, the closing session speaker, will share the principles and stories of the world’s top-performing individuals and organizations.

• Dave Torok, president & CEO, Padgett Printing, and Dave DeLana, president, HERITAGE, discuss leadership challenges in the face of man-made and natural disasters
• The pre-conference session, Building a Business Development Team, Sunday, March 2, helps printers position themselves for success by showing them how invest in digital presses, software, and people within their business environment.
Additional workshops will address issues of acquisition strategy, private equity roles in growth, digital workflow, and ROI of equipment expenditures. A peer roundtable discussion for CEOs will be led by Presidents Conference Advisory Committee member Michael Wurst, president, Henry Wurst Co.
