The acquisition of FiberMark by Neenah Paper, announced last quarter, is now in the process of rapid integration. Neenah Paper and Packaging customers now have immediate access to thousands of colors, textures, finishes and weights in premium papers, box wraps, folding boards and labels. Newly expanded capabilities include specialty coatings and finishing with a focus on custom work.
“This is the perfect marriage of two very complementary companies,” said Julie Schertell, president, fine paper and packaging at Neenah. “FiberMark is a leader in developing and providing premium specialty coatings and finishes — a perfect complement to Neenah’s strong paper and packaging manufacturing capabilities. With these new capabilities, the strength of our customer relationships, and our proven ability to execute, we are opening up unlimited possibilities to create unique and custom fabrications for our customers,” Schertell said.
Expanded Paper and Packaging Portfolio Includes:
- Touché Papers: A soft, matte finish offering a softness similar to a rose petal, ideal for premium and luxury brands.
- SuedeTex Papers: A rich soft texture that simulates leather, providing unlimited creative potential.
- Neenah Folding Board and Box Wrap: Featuring 58 new stocked items, plus endless finish, texture and color combinations that can be manufactured to your specific needs. Perfect for discerning packaging customers.
