New Label Converting Solutions From AB Graphic International
ELGIN, IL—August 15, 2012—AB Graphic International is showcasing a comprehensive range of label converting equipment demonstrating its ability to offer finishing solutions for traditional and digitally printed labels, packaging and cartons. The company will feature exhibits for the ‘Laser Die Cutting Workshop’ in Hall F and on its stand number 3226.
Label converting lines being demonstrated on stand 3226 will include the Digicon Lite, entry level model, a Series 2, high speed Digicon running on or off line with an HPWS6600 printer and a similar version aimed at high quality, prime label production. This model will feature semi-rotary flexo and die cutting capabilities as well as hot foil stamping and embossing. Also on show will be an automatic flexible die loading system.
From its Vectra range the company will demonstrate its SGTR1300-4 glue-less turret rewinder and ECTR1700-4 model now available in 17” format. These will run together with Omega converting and unwinding equipment demonstrating start to finish solutions.
An entry level HSR1700 inspection slitter/rewinder will be introduced with Flytec, PC based vision inspection and for the first time in the USA, the company’s F.A.S.T. (fully automatic slitting terminal) system will be shown demonstrating servo precise, rapid slitter knife setting.
The very latest B-5010 booklet making machine for extended label converting requirements is also being shown for the first time in the USA. This includes enhancements to booklet in-feed equipment which the company now manufactures itself and full servo driven web transport for speeds up to 40m/min.
To illustrate the effectiveness of printing small order quantities for cartons AB Graphic International has joined forces with cutting and creasing equipment manufacturer KAMA to show a Digicon folding carton solution with flat bed die cutting and creasing.
Exhibits for the ‘Laser Die Cutting Workshop’ in Hall F will include the Digicon Sabre Xtreme laser label cutter featuring the latest software upgrades with new automated underscore positioning system for fully automatic set back scoring enabling every job to be slit to the exactly required width. This will be shown with an Omega RTS1300 sheeter.
