FORT MILL—Martin Automatic has installed a splicer and rewinder combo on a narrow web label press at Flexographic Trade Services. The unit will be combined with an STR turret rewinder to provide non-stop roll changing for FTS's new Mark Andy P5 Performance series press. Matching the press speed of up to 500 fpm, the new MBSC/STR combo can boost productivity and reduce materials waste for more profitable operations.
