100% Recycled Paperboard Wins In National Competition

Several of this year's winners participate in the 100% Recycled Paperboard Alliance's (RPA-100%) 100% recycled paperboard licensing program. The licensing program allows companies to print the 100% recycled paperboard symbol on packaging made of 100% recycled paperboard to identify it to consumers, whom studies have shown feel that environmental responsiveness is important. The majority of consumers think it's important that companies do something good for the environment (89%) and feel better about a company that uses 100% recycled paperboard in its product packaging (77%), according to a survey of consumers conducted on behalf of RPA-100%.
